CALENDAR OF EVENTS

The purpose of this multi-year collaboration of the South Carolina State Museum, the Medical University of South Carolina, the Halsey Institute of Contemporary Art at the College of Charleston and noted and emerging photographers from throughout the state was to create a collection of art to display in MUSC’s education and clinical buildings to remind students, faculty and staff  of those they serve throughout South Carolina. The collection portrays South Carolinians in the Lowcountry, the Piedmont, and the Upstate—reflecting the full range and diversity of the state’s citizens, occupations and recreational activities. The complete series of photographs is on display for the first time in this State Museum exhibit.
