River Runner Outdoor Center invites you to join us on our weekly kayak trip down Columbia's Historic Canal. You will notice birds and various aquatic critters along the one-hour trip. We will glide past Columbia's water plant, including the historic original pump house buildings. After ducking under the 100 year old footbridge, we paddle by new residential development overlooking the canal. We end our trip just above the hydroelectric powerhouse at Gervais Street,.
